Bought 06 Taco with 206,000 miles, I have questions

    OP, what your build date? Do you have a 6 cylinder? If so and the build date’s after 1/06 or after, you most likely have the redesigned head gaskets and won’t have to worry about them.

    Do full synthetic oil every 10K miles and you’ll do fine.

    Expect water pump, wheel bearings, steering rack, tires, ujoints (if you don’t grease them regularly), typcal wear items. Get the updated replacement board for the compass/temp display - easy and permanent fix.

    You can expect well over 300K miles doing proper maintenance and upkeep.
