So I have had a rough idle and the throttle has been sticking coming off idle for a while now and this weekend I had a chance to pull the throttle body off and clean it. This is a 2001 with 338,200 plus miles and also the first time the throttle body has ever been pulled off so I'm asking if this is an excessive amount of carbon build up and if it is what else should I be looking for that would be a cause of this. Thanks for the help.20191221_125644.jpg 20191221_125704.jpg 20191221_133040.jpg

Wsidr1, thanks for the input. After cleaning my 2.7 did idle much smoother and around 650-700 rpm with no more sticky throttle which was very annoying.

    engine swap (stuck valve @260K)
high idle will drop back after computer re calibrates. PCV suspect, or just lots of blowby from so much mileage. Remove oil fill cap and see how much she's puffing. 338K, Nice!
