2010 Clock is LCD with LED Backlight!!!!

    Not doable... on the 05 the overhead temp is a vacuum florescent display as well as the clock. but on the 2010 the clock is LED. Were trying to find out if the 2010 temp display is LED as well.

    correct, 1 each. 5mm LED from radio shack was used.

    2011 temp display is NOT LED.

    took it apart when i did my clock... but according to Jerez, the temp display is bit different from the previous years. the whole board setup is slightly diff.

    I just did the clock LED mod to blue and it is a little difficult to see the numbers and in pictures it's practically nonexistent. Any ideas on how to get all the back light to go away?

    2012-14 they change the leds to the same as in the clusters (plcc-2)
