I got around to milling out my lowers. I had to get the mill table cleaned up and trammed and also has to do the same with the vise. Fun project. First time for both using the Bridgeport and assembling a rifle. I did a 308 and a 6.5 Grendel. Ballistics are similar between the 2, the 6.5 looks like it should be fun to try for 1000 yards. I recommend this project to anyone on the fence.

I've always wanted a 1911. Do they make one? Honestly haven't done much research.

I dont know anything about 1911s let alone building them but they sure do. You can find just about everything in 80 percent. Glock, AR, AK and 1911 are prob the most popular but ive also seen sten, uzi and cetme. If you are into clone building you can get retro laser engraved lowers or AK receivers marked as they should by country. All kinds of custom engraving can be done as well.
