I have a 95.5 Tacoma with an airbag steering wheel. Wanting to replace the steering wheel with an aftermarket one without an airbag. How can this be done? Any help is appreciated. Thank you

This video will help you get the old steering wheel off. If you don't have an airbag anymore for the electrical connector to connect with, I imagine you'll have an air bag or SRS light on all the time on your dash as a result unless you pull the bulb.

BUT! Why could you want to eliminate such an important safety feature? It's proven air bags save lives and at the least bit can save you from serious injury. If you eliminate it, you might live or possibly not live to regret this decision.

The easy part in 1995 is that the steering wheel airbag is the only thing connected to SRS computer. So without that airbag you can throw away the SRS computer (that will take care of that pesky SRS warning light) and go back to early last century safety standards. But if you do that, I recommend to also remove seat belts just to make sure you will not survive an accident as a handicap :anonymous:.
