My F150 key went through the washer. The detergent I used must of been corrosive. I opened it up and it looked like green cottage cheese inside the CB.

Ha! Thought I was the only one. Company I worked for was ditching a couple computers so I snagged them for the parts. They were extremely dusty so I ran them under the kitchen faucet. Motherboard, hard drive, everything. Let all the parts dry for several days & bada bing, bada boom, they worked. My friends who witnessed this thought I was crazy....yeah? Well.

I lost my FOB in the snow in my backyard. Found it in spring after the snow melted. No issues at all

I jumped in the pool with my Meso fob in my pocket this past summer, probably spent 20 minutes in the water before I realized it and took it out and put it on a chair to start drying out. Unfortunately someone picked it up and clicked one of the buttons to see if the small LED lit up and fried it. Luckily I have the backup but damn, what a way to be out some unnecessary coin!
