I called to Headlight Revolution and, although it sucks having to replace parts, they’re sending me new parts under warranty. Their customer service has taken good care of me so far.

We're going on new year's eve. We've been doing this for the past few years. Great thing to do with the kids for new year's.

Lol. I do too! He's a good guy. He's getting old and starting to slow down though. Poor little man.

So when our dogs are being crazy, hide and seek always tires them out. Walks and exercise won't work, unless you go on a big hike, and with a young dog that doesn't always even do it. dogs are built to last longer than we usually can.

However, their brains are smaller and thinking is hard. So we break up a treat or two into like 30 pieces and hide them all over the house while the dogs are locked in a side room or basement. Once the dog gets the idea of the game they will go nuts for it. For the first time, I'd show the dog what he's search for, and help him find one or two. Then start asking, where is it? and get them to understand what is going on. They usually pick it up quick cause they love treats.

edit: This also trains them to use their noses! Its really fun to watch how much better our dogs are at tracking scents now. They used to just wonder around aimlessly, now they track game all over our woods and sniff every print they can find.

Hey peeps. So if anybody ends up looking for me I'm going to be off for a little bit. At least until after the New year. Just finally lost my uncle after battling for over three years. Funeral was yesterday so things are a little messy. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.

Oh man, really sorry to hear of your loss. Not an easy time of year for it but at least you will probably be with a lot of your people. Merry Christmas and stay strong.

Hey Jason @jpereira2 , sorry to hear about your uncle. Losing loved ones is bad enough especially when you lose them around the holidays (I lost my dad 4 years ago Thanksgiving)! I hope you and your family feel comfort in knowing that he can finally rest and is a good place.

Sorry for your loss Jason @jpereira2.

I just got back from the VT DMV, registered my truck and can't believe that the vanity plate EXPL0RE was still available...not any more. This was my second visit to the DMV up here and the main branch in Montpelier, neither one has had more than a 15 minute wait. Massachusetts could learn a thing or two from these guys, but it's also a two-way street. Inspection stations up here apparently get to set their own rates ($60-80 is the current rate from what the woman at the DMV told me). Crazy...

I want to get S1NEP or 5INEP , so when people see the plate in their mirror it says penis. But apparently that's not allowed. Lame

#cancerisabitch thank you all for your comfort. Most of the adults are backing out of the holidays for probably a year. Some dumb Portuguese tradition so I'm hosting Xmas Eve this year. But definitely keeping cousins close because love, laughter, and family heals the wounds. He doesn't have to suffer anymore. I'm happy for that. It's crazy the amount of change he went through just from August to last Friday. What I wouldn't do to hear his voice and play one more card game. Hug your loved ones everyone because it doesn't take more than a moment for it all to be taken away.
