Why not Les Schwab? Simple. When I compare them, Discount Tire has the tires I want, at a better price, and has consistently provided better service. My local 4 Wheel Parts has been great too. Online? Tire Rack, hands down. Excellent pricing, quick shipping, and no dramas.

Schwab? Well, let's just say I learned my lesson the last time I went in for a flat fix (that was the last time I was in a Schwab store, and will be the last). In the amount of time I waited for a flat repair (4 hours), my tire went completely flat. Rather than air it up, their tech hopped in the car and drove on it, cutting the sidewall in the process, then tried to tell me that I did the damage driving it to the store. Ummm, nope, I didn't, I do know how to change a tire when I need to. Also have a portable compressor, so I aired it up instead. After taking up 4 hours of my time, ruining my tire, and charging me about double what they should have for the replacement tire, they had the gall to tell me my brakes needed to be serviced too. I drove on those brakes for another year and a half before the pads were due for replacement.

My experience with Schwab included utterly horrible service, lying to my face, predatory pricing, and was followed by high-pressure upselling. I'll pass, thanks. They're just not the sort of people I will ever do business with again.
