Haven’t had mine long enough to see any issues. I did add Weathertech mud flaps.

    Too few to list.
I had a 2017 4 cyl 4x4 auto. I was getting up to 24 mpg highway driving 65 on completely stock configuration. I switched to a 265/75R16 Cooper Discover 4S which is a 41lb tire and 16" SCS F5's which are 19 lb wheels and my mpg dropped to about 18 mixed. In comparison the stock 245's which was around 31 lbs tires but the steel wheels were heftly at 28 lbs and my mixed mpg was between 20-22.

That being said, if you want to keep your mpg I suggest sticking with the 245/75R16 size with just better tires and keep your air dam on. If budget allows, lighter wheels and LCE Header gives it a little more pep. Header is not CA legal but didn't worry as in 5 years time for smog check and can easily be swapped.

Also for less than $200, I opted to get a Viper alarm installed as I hated opening the door with the key. <- best mod right there.

OR wheels and tires look 100% better than the steelies.

Agree. I just got the OR wheels with 265s for my ‘18 SR from a member here. MUCH nicer than the steelies .

JDMCAR Center Console Organizer Insert Dividers Compatible with Toyota Tacoma 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020
Perfect fit for my 2019 Tacoma, have to read instructions closely or you will not be able to install. Great way to organize into six smaller compartments. Only con is that after install, hard to reach the USB ports in the center, best to plug your cord in and leave it plugged in. Really makes the deep console compartment usable and well organized.

Vehicle OCD - Center Console Organizer Tray for Toyota Tacoma (2005-2015) and (2016-2020)
Perfect fit for my 2019 Tacoma, slides easily front to back. As some reviewers noted it’s pricey for a piece of plastic, but it does have a rubber like pad in the bottom. No regrets, great compliment to the dividers above.

Works Great! Has adjustable extension neck.

Kraco sunshade p/n 111106. 23” tall x 57.5” wide. Fits Tacoma very well.
Bought at Oreilly’s Auto Parts, don’t see it in stock anymore but available elsewhere.

Nice trucks every one. Just purchased mine 2016 SR..was wondering, is the 2.7 SR also in need of a gear change? Been reading up and most taco owners change gears up, but dont mention if they do it on 2.7L as well...

If you're gonna put oversized tires on, maybe. I put 32's on and rarely see sixth gear so I occasionally think about it, but I also rarely drive at highway/interstate speeds.

Yea was thinking of adding a leveling kit with some 32's at least. I do drive highway, but mostly city.

The LCE Header is the closest thing to a common performance mod. There is a $5k Supercharger kit out there if you want more oompf.

Interior/Exterior is the same as any other Taco.

I wouldnt rush into thinking its a "must-do" item then.

I love them. I live in Wisconsin and winters can get pretty chilly so heated seats really help make the ride more comfortable.

pics of the interior and other mods can be seen here :

I got a 2020 SR, double cab V6 4x4, not planning on doing a whole to it. Just ordered fogs lights, I’m gonna put FJ wheel on with general AT2 265/70/17 (from my t4r), a roof rack and maybe a softopper in the near future.

I had plastidipped the rims gunmetal Nd black, should I keep it the same? Or go for a diff color, don’t really wanna get them black
