    2019 white trd sport
    have new 2019 Tacoma trd sport is it normal for dash lights to be off when lights are off had a 2006 they were on all the time sometimes when lights are off you have a hard time seeing radio controls and speed not the digital one anyone else have this problem

    The head unit lights stay on as well as the digital speedometer. I have a 2017 but shouldn’t be different.

    It's normal, as designed. I'm actually opposed to always-on dash lights. I see so many people driving at night without headlights on these days, probably because their clusters are lit up bright all the time and they think that means their headlights are on too.

    It's easy to tell your headlights aren't on if you can't see anything inside the cab!
