For the 4 on the radiator? Nah, not needed. Normal pliers/channellocks/needlenose/your fingers are fine.

it wasn't the pedal spring assembly that was squeaking inside the cab?
i eliminated that spring squeak in mine the other day, hopefully more than a few years until i need to do that again

I thought at first, but then I held door open and pumped the clutch. Sound was definitely from under the truck so I coated it and it worked. I also did the spring assembly and stuff on the inside, but sound was exterior to the truck. I COATED it all yesterday, and today it's quiet again!

If you wanna spend the money, Channellock makes a nice pair of hose clamp pliers. But I doubt you'll find them locally.

Definitely try the clutch master cylinder slave. I sprayed by the boot and just pumped the clutch for a bit. Didn't fix it at first but drove the truck later in the day and it was gone. Just had to soak and seep. For me it sounded almost like a grindy-creaky nasty sound at like 80% depression of clutch

Super thankful!! Sounded disgusting prior to the fix; so grindy, creaky, metal grinding sound with like 80% depression of clutch. Was worried at first bc it didn't resolve immediately-- was prolly due to our rain in Az. Got in the truck later in the day and from soaking and seeping the sound is gone!!

Only specialty clamp plier tool I've used for clamps like that is actually really sweet. But for the radiator might not need this tool, well, I know you don't need it because i didn't use my tool for it lolllll, needed It for a different job on a S2000 because you couldn't get to the blend valve hoses on the firewall without pulling the engine. This tool was a godsend:

Wasn't that exact one. But same principle. If buying, research which brand, etc. I thought mine was a Lisle brand but don't see a Lisle one like that in a quick search

Daaaaaamn. But I will admit to you that that actual OEM spec'ed radiator is higher quality than the Denso aftermarket units. Now that doesn't necessarily mean the Denso won't last as long, etc... It simply means that the OEM radiator is just a higher quality unit. Of course it will cost more.

The Denso I've had in for 3.5 years now. :fingerscrossed:
