This After Market Sony radio was a royal pain from the get go

It would quit at random I had made the adapter harness to plug into the Truck Radio harness.

I pulled things apart so many times I could do it in the dark checking and rechecking everything.

At last it quit and did not power up for a few weeks . Wow all kinds of strange noises to be heard.

Cut to the chase The pin on the Sony supplied plug the switch power wire was loose in the plug causes the intermittent issues .

I did not care for that radio installed a Factory Radio .

If you ever consider going back to aftermarket go with a kenwood

Most times from forum members who upgraded to something fancy .

Really not a big fan of the whole junk yard thing only as a last resort

I have a stock oem radio CD player I held on to after 'upgrading' to a Pioneer.
It's yours if you want it. I've had it for sale locally for 50 bucks. But it's yours 20 bucks shipped, if you want it
