Hi. I have AT tires on my tacoma.
I think and I THINK there is a slow leak on 2 of them. I am not sure, but are AT tires are repairable??
If not, what kind of sealant or brand that I can fill the tire to stop the leak.
    thank you.

When I purchased a dodge challenger a few years ago, it didn't come with a spare.
There was some type of small air compressor in the trunk with that tire slime stuff in it.

I believe that stuff is highly flammable and your supposed to put a sticker on the rim somewhere that lets tire service people know is has that foamy, flammable repair slime in it.

Sealants will destroy the TPMS sensors if you have them, and they make the tire harder to work on at the shop. Use only in an emergency.

For slow leaks, just top up the pressure and go to a shop to fix it properly. Could be punctures or leaking at the wheel bead seat.

Assuming the leak is in a safe area to patch it doesn't matter what type of tire, I work at ford and I've patched Mickie Thompson(I think that's the brand) tires that are 30's, only rules at my dealer is we won't patch if it's near the sidewall for fear of possible blow outs and following lawsuits and we limit patches to max of two per tire, once again cause of lawsuits.

Air it up, get a water hose and look for air bubbles. Most cases it's a nail or screw. Plug it and move on, just use rubber cement with the plug.

so i took the truck to have the 2 tires looked at. It was leaking from the beads/rim area. One is leaking faster than the other. He said the inside of the rims lip area is corroded. So they can do a re-mount and sealed the beads again. He said it is a temporary fix. He said you can get them the rims repainted. What do you think on the options??
