Cal Trend seat cover installation

Santa brought me a set of Caltrend Dura Plus seat covers and they look to be well made. Unfortunately their instructions leave a bit to be desired (to say the least).

I can’t figure out where one of the elastic straps with s-hook attaches to. The seat bottom cover has a hook on the inside next to the center console (near the seatbelt latch) and it’s nearly impossible to get your hand in there. I can’t find anything to connect that to and the instructions don’t say anything about it. Anyone know the intended attachment point?

I’ll call Caltrend tomorrow, but figured TW’s collective knowledge might get me an answer sooner.
