Be careful with the tailgaters idea. I was driving home in near complete darkness with one other car ahead of me somewhere. A truck comes speeding passed us with his rear light bar on and nearly blinded me. The other car swerved a bit and we were just minding our own business. The point is, collateral damage, please no.

 

I have a 20 inch s8 that would be better for the tail gate issue.

No worries, just sharing my story and how much I didn't appreciate it. Honestly perhaps the guy didn't even know it was on, but that's neither here nor there.

 

As many LED lights as my truck has, I have a special hatred for people that run them on the daily for street duty. We have a jeep here that runs the "doucher jeep special". Purple halos, underglow, what have to be Sqdn pro level ambers on my way home, Bright as hell to come across. Finally had to hit him with a split second of my 40" up top. He hasn't done it since.

 

That is an amazing story. This is one of the main reasons for wanting to get a light bar up on the roof, for asshats like that.

 

Don't be that guy. I hit em cuz I had it but I didn't buy one with that in mind. Worst case, I could have just had my roommate park her patrol car in my driveway for a half hour and legit ticket the guy.

 

#1 reason for the lightbar is for the dark, and I mean pitch black dark, roads in parts of Canada I visit, but I will keep that in mind.
If he does do that again, maybe the roommate patrol car is the next best thing.
