I would go knock off on sale. Maxtrax are great but unless you are overlanding do or die, I find the other brands are fine. Especially if you can get them under $50/pair. Matrax best advantage is nesting.

You've got me thinking. What other brands have you tried that you find decent?

Not in a true stuck position. Once just laid flat, the other in hole on a wet track. No flexing or smashing. Search around here. People use them.

Some Amazon knock offs saved my rockers. We didn't do a great job of filling in the gaps, so the boards did a bit of bridging:

So, after doing some reading I think I need to add an air compressor to my list. If I'm going to be out and about it seems as though airing down is advantageous enough that an air compressor is warranted. Seems like the ARB single or twin are the "industry standard". Does there happen to be others I should look into as well?

If you want to go through the trouble of wiring for high current and mounting it. Otherwise, a lot of folks like the Viair compressors. I just use a scuba tank that was given to me.

After you get some AoB setup, give this a good look:

Yeah, I saw that. I will be following @Shellshock 's lead on that one.

As far as the Viair: This guy? https://www.amazon.com/40047-400P-R...ocphy=9018695&hvtargid=pla-434267713860&psc=1

The Viair 88 gets recommended a lot:
    https://www.viaircorp.com/portables/88p

I would say to grab the bare compressor, no accessories, and build the rest of the kit yourself since air lines and fittings are cheap and easy to work with.

Sarcasm aside, I would like to buy a TRD exhaust, but I realize this is a polarizing choice like the TRD intake. I'd like to change the door speakers out for Focals.

I'm keeping the powder dry so to speak.

The exhaust is more about sound and less about performance. Also, CAI generally haven't been good for power gains, especially in an N/A vehicle, for years. I tune cars as a side gig (mostly LS stuff, but sometimes also Ford and MOPAR) and have seen diminishing returns on CAI's over the past 6 or 7 years I've been doing it.

Edit: Before someone ask's me to tune their Taco, the software(s) I use don't support Taco's post 2015. Unfortunately. Even then I wouldn't tune a Taco because I would be out of my depth.
