Figured I'd get a quicker response in the 2nd gen thread since it is specifically the 2nd gen I'm asking about. Will this box fit behind my back seat? I did measure with the plastic storage still in and I'm sure the height and width 15"x20" are fine. But the depth of the box is what I cant measure without taking apart. 7 1/2" deep at the bottom and 5" at the top

No this won’t fit. On the back wall behind there is a bar that sticks out right around 10-12” from floor and the bar is about 1-1/2”x2” if my memory is right (Did a custom box years back) that goes the whole length which is where the tethered strap points are welded to for baby seats.

pretty sure Amazon has prepbuilt one but have to run shallow subs.

7-1/2” at bottom is tight. That’s what I have an had to pull out seats to install box. I was able to squeeze 10” subs that were 5-3/4” deep an they just fit.

Hard to see but if you look at the back of the box you can see where it’s channeled out

That most likely won't work for your truck. 3rd gens have a different back wall than the 2005-15 trucks.
