Interesting. I spent a good chunk of the afternoon on the phone with Toyota's customer service one day this week. The guy told me the program for the CRC wasn't ready yet and we would be notified when it was. I wonder if they're doing some pilot programs or something?

My understanding (just from the one letter I received so far) is that you can get a frame inspection done now. But the actual application of stuff to the frame is still being worked out and that will be announced in a 2nd letter

You're right, I maybe should have elaborated. I was told to sit tight unless I think I have a problem (which I think I might, but it's not imminent).

If you did think there was a problem, then you should call the local dealership, talk to the service department and make an appointment for the inspection. (The guy said it takes about half an hour and they put it on the lift, so you should make sure they've got space/time). When the CRC is ready, you'll have to come in and get it sprayed to stay eligible for a possible replacement. At least that's the way it was explained to me.

I got my letter last week.

This isn’t the only thread on the subject, maybe a Mod could merge them. It’s messy but things smooth out after awhile...

Got my 2013 inspected today in Utah. I never received a letter so I called in for the inspection. They didn't find any issues, but they said they don't do the anti-corrosion treatment. They claim it was an east coast thing and not out in the west. I told them that wasn't my understanding, but not much I could do. On the invoice it says "no frame rail seal". I looked it up and it appears to be a part for a 3rd gen. Anyone know what it is on a 2nd gen? Thanks.
