i have been considering that myself. I think the draw is small enough the solar would keep it topped off between cooks.

    :fingerscrossed: Good luck Curt!

Now I want to try that. Love smoked bacon wrapped onion rings. Excuse the poorly wrapped ABT's by the time I did the onion rings ran out of bacon wrapping energy.

Could get 2" of rain. Or 2 feet of snow this weekend. All they know is that it is going to be a shitshow weather wise. And pretty sure I will not be able to smoke or even grill this weekend. Hmm now that I think about it hold my beer and watch this...

Jim Olson on the GMG owners group tested a few power packs. IIRC most lasted 40 hours or so. I would think the pack you have will do the job. :)

The biggest amperage draw is certainly going to be the ignition part (start) of the smoke. You could bypass that step with a small squirt of fire starting gel, after it’s going, the P.I.D. and fan wouldn’t draw very much I wouldn’t think? Also, you could recharge your jump box off your truck, with it idling for a few minutes.

Not smoking, that’ll most likely be tomorrow, but thought I’d share anyways. Red beans & rice today for the play-off games.

Lift, sliders, skids & some other stuff.
Inspired. Went shopping this morning for some stuff to cook and love the look of those. Doing some PBBE tonight, smoke em and finish in the oven. Going on after are some salmon fillets and a steelhead. Working on fire management for temp control.
