Skinning a custom bed rack

    Has anyone seen or built a custom bed rack and skinned it as well? I like the idea of having the utility of a tube bed rack but being able to enclose sections.
    I dont want a traditional topper due to size and weight though.

    I've searched but couldnt find anything other than custom bed racks.

    Am I the only one who thinks this would be cool?

    You’re basically describing something similar to a go fast camper. I’ve always loved the idea of what you’re describing, basically a lower height contractor cap (those aluminum ones).i have yet to see anyone do it

    I don't understand what you're looking looking for, but there is a dedicated section for covers, tops, racks, etc, you'll probably find a lot more info/help there.
