no, my son got him this morning.dont look for excuses but my stock bolts to the recoil block on the reciever.it was loose and barrel moved around in the stock. so at the shot it could have moved a good bit. im a stickler for that stuff. when a i set my sons gun up and torqued it in the stock i marked it for him. rather see him get it anyway. we just worked it up, like 60* here.i went back and edited that my son was sitting 100yd from where i sat

Its crazy the difference in what we think deer pay attention to and what they actually pay attention to

In a blind its different also, it may sound loud inside but outside they may not hear it. Unless you hit the side of the blind or something loud like that. Same with scent

Me and baby girl came hunting. Well, more like snack time. I’ve never had ice cream in a blind in my life until today. It’s 65 degrees. Didn’t make her walk too far either :D

Came and bushhogged the buckwheat this morning and took it and the drag home. Brought Cole back and we plowed the food plot and took it and the cut away home. Hopefully we get to hunt here some more.

I have four doe tags, my wife has four doe tags but our freezer is full from the four bucks we killed and also the one our son got yesterday, I used his tag for it yesterday, he has five left. We are done shooting for this year though.

Oh and season goes out January 2nd, we can hunt the 1st. Urban archery comes back in a few weeks later but it’s hard to get one close after gun season been in for 2 months and there’s no leaves on the trees for cover.
