What breakers has anyone had good luck with for their amps?
I got Crutchfield’s CK10 amp wiring kit. It includes a 20a. Fuse but the Allen key is some strange size. I’ve tried every SAE and metric Allen key that I have and none work. Crutchfield tech couldn’t tell me what size it is.
I figure I’ll just get a breaker and be done with it. No replacement fuses to buy either.

Are you sure its an Allen key. Could it be a Torx or spline wrench?

Was about to suggest just that. If the head is down in the shadows a bit it can look like a hex without shining light on it.

Gotcha - never heard of one that wouldn't fit either SAE or metric. Maybe try a torx if you have a set around - that works for extracting rounded hex bolts sometimes.

Turns out I’m missing the 3mm hex from 2 different sets. My neighbor had one. I’m good thanks.
