I’m wanting to go with 16x8 -12 scs ray 10s but I was told they are fine so hopefully no issues.

The offroad package comes with 16 inch rims, take a look at your stock rims. You will see that there is not much clearance between the rim and the caliper. The sport comes with 17 inch rims, if you now someone with a sport do a comparison.

Good to know, my truck has 16 stock and after contacting scs they are saying the 16” ray 10s don’t have any fitment issues. Didn’t know the sport came with 17s though.

Call me Jesus cause I'm raising this thread from the dead, I've been approved for my permit and now I'm just waiting for it to get here. Is there anything special I should bring with me aside from some beers?

Just be mindful that it’s not an Offroad Park.

Stick to the designated trails/paths, and you should be alright.

Yeah I planned on just taking the wife and kids out there. Is there an area to swim? I have seen some pictures but I haven't been there myself obviously.

Winter season is a bit rough out there. But in the summer, can definitely swim/snorkel. Just watch out for sharks, sharp coral/rocks, and be mindful of the seals and Honu.

Howzit! Haha hide your beers, alcohol is technically not allowed, pack out your trash, leave the place better than you found it. Go out there to enjoy nature, not destroy it and it’s all good! Mahalo!!

Many Mahalos for the advice! I always try to leave it better than when I arrived! Hopefully the weather breaks and they open it back up. Pretty excited to get out on that part of the island.

I'll be heading back from the mainland tomorrow and plan on taking the boys out there Saturday. Hopefully I'll get some good pictures, and maybe fly the drone around some. I'll post the video once I edit it if I do go out.

Make sure to check if access through gate is available. As of today you can gain access, with proper pass.

Went out there Sunday. Took the main road almost all the way to the end. Avoided some muddy ponds towards the end and went beach route the rest of the way to conservation area. Wish I had taken that route in the first place lol. Was just running street pressure and my suspension kinda stiff, maybe I should air down a bit next time.

Was beautiful out there. Looking forward to going again, enjoying the scenery and feeling out my 4runner more. First time doing anything like that and was good to build some confidence. total noob at this stuff any pointers welcome

Yes you can apply for free online. Good days are when the park it open and bad days is when the park is closed. Forgot to check the site onetime to see if it was open and drove all the way to the gate just to find out it was closed lol.
