Lots of things going all around this route but not direct to this. Most are blowing off the cruise but it looks simple to fix. Frankly, I'd like to straighten out before powering up airbags again, it's starting to make me nervouse even though I know that part is compatible.

Here's truck with '99 Sienna wheel/ clock spring and cruise control *also ties to stereo controller on left that I really don't care about.* (is this a 2 wire CC sw. from '99?)

old 2 spoke wheel '00. I really was surprised the yr. being so close had this much difference in wiring. (I guess this is typical 3 wire CC switch?)

I know the column wiring must be in a different order due to the clock/spr. diff., anyone have a knowlege of what the order to be changed was?

I think I just have to re-pin 1 wire but not sure.

From MechanicJon's info. *thread is geared more for audio* he says to add the third wire on the OTHER side of the ck/spg. Seems to me if we're retro'ing to a '00 the wire should already be there.

I'm really not following why newer CCs need 2 wires and older 3?

Do I need to add the column wiring?

I'm thinking Sienna wiring is same as Camry for anyone having done it.

When searching "Camry Wheel" I get close info. but was later to later yrs.

Yet another steering wheel replacement post. This is for a 1999 Tacoma whose wiring should be the same as your 2000. Hope it clarifies the third wire install.

Like any other swap your going to need the prints of your vehicles cruise control circuit and the donor vehicles.

Your Truck with year and vehicle the part came from to make it as easy as possible

Maybe you can find the donor vehicle from someone.

Being Toyota harnesses change sometimes year to year with the same model

The cruise control was one of the first things to go

What is interesting both the 96EWD and 2000 EWD show the cruise control switch for the Tacoma being 3 wires
