Hey guys I was thinking about purchasing a mild lift for my TrdOR RWD..
I don’t take the truck off-roading that much and if I do, it’s maybe some light stuff (i.e- gravel/sand trails mild-moderate hills) to get to a fishing spot, launch my yak or do a little exploring. And surprisingly, even when I got into mud, the diff lock did the job!
I was also thinking on adding 1.25 spidertrax spacers as well.

Thoughts on a spacer lift/block combo for around $120-130 (rough country 2” FR-1” block rear)?
    Or
If you guys have any other suggestions..

    thanks

Amazon has the spacers for $59.95 and a block for $59.95.

    spidertrax 1.25s I found for $93.01/pair

Will be fine for your purposes. They’re not ideal for everybody, so expect some naysayers.

OP I did the same and it works great. Avoids diff/cv issues and brings the truck up. I have full skids and sliders so it helped me gain back what I’d lost then some.

personally I’d skip the spacers and go with 255/85’s

    @nat103

I am running with 265/75/16 wildpeak at/3s, which is slightly larger than the original tires.

I have been looking into doing the same. Get some lift spacers. Looks like the good spacers come with diff drops. If you have 2018+ with TSSP I read somewhere you need 1.5" rear lift for rake. I also read you will need to change the needle bearing if you feel any vibes after the lift. So just be aware that it doesn't seem to just be a lift, might have a few other things to do

that’s the beauty of a small lift (under 2-2.5 inches) none of that is needed.

    ^ sometimes**

Even small lifts change things in the drivetrain that can cause issues. Lot of people running 1.5” AALs that needed shims/CB drops to fix vibrations.

Any mod can be a can of worms, lifting is certainly one of them.

The only thing 2” lifts have going for them is they don’t typically require aftermarket UCAs to get properly aligned. That is it.
2.5” or more and you’re almost guaranteed to have poor alignment without them.

There’s a lot of lifted trucks on this site, and a lot of problems with vibrations and alignment, and not many have a full 3” of lift with those issues. Most people recommend staying below 3” because the ride suffers, so expect possible issues with lifts, period.

I’m sure I’m going with a 2/1.5 spacer and block....
Do I need the sway bar drop kit as well or no?

I did 2" spacer lift front and rear on mine for under $100.
