    Hey there folks,

I am looking at upgrading the spacer and AAL lift on my 2019 Tacoma. Been looking into BP51s or Kings with either Camburg or SPC ucas. What would yall recommend?

Also, if I'm upgrading my ucas, would it be wise to upgrade my lcas and spindles as well or should I be ok to keep those stock for a while?

I’ve got Kings with spc ucas it’s a great setup for what I enjoy doing. If your not jumping or bouncing off rocks your spindles will be fine along with your lcas.
I really like the bp-51s because you can adjust both rebound and compression to your liking.

Have you had anything wrong with your king resis? I've been reading on failure of resis with Kings, Icons, and even OME. Seems like a lack of proper maintenance more than a problem with the part.

No sir I haven’t had a single issue whatsoever. Any shock can fail at anytime but I wouldn’t let that scare you about getting what you like. I would definitely recommend keeping your current setup for backups when rebuild time comes around.
I did have icons prior to this they never leaked cept one time due to my own carelessness.

Just out of curiosity what is your intended use for the truck outside of DD duty?

Icon’s fail all the time. BP51s had some issues with leaking seals on the shock bodies IIRC.

High end suspension comes with its own set of maintenance and issue spectrums, they’re built much nicer than a plug and play shock and will certainly outlast them, but that isn’t necessarily their purpose. Also, unless you plan to rebuild yourself keep your old suspension setup handy, you’ll have a week or two of downtime while they’re being rebuilt.

I go wheeling often. I am looking for a nicer ride and better performance for those wheeling times.

That's what I've heard. I guess as long as you keep up on maintenance, they should last without issue, right?

I get that they make a noticeable difference. At one point I had all ome 886 with matching nitro chargers front/rear it performed great but switching to a higher end shock made things way more plush.
If you can swing it try to get into a shock relocate and a HD hanger for the rear with a 12in or 14in smoothie depending on vendor. I have the bamf setup absolutely love it.
Way more flex and rear travel compared to the oem geometry.
