I use a plain old Top tube filler. Maybe $10 bucks depending where you get it.
I had a fancy one that was $40 or so that I wore out.
The cheap one does just as well and lasts a good long time.

    Good question.

In 2009 there was a big tax increase that included loose cigarette tobacco for roll your own.
This was the "Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2009".
What a fucking crock. Like the money was earmarked for the children (sniff) or some crap.
Oh, but it gets spent alright.

    Guess what happened?
Yeah, they sold the same stuff as pipe tobacco.
A little different cut but otherwise the same.
    Gotta love free enterprise. :)

Anyway, I've been buying Ohm Silver for a few years now.
Silver is the lightest you can get.
You can't market as regular, light or ultra-light any more.

    Most brands are color coded.
Red is regular, Blue is light, Silver is ultra light, green is menthol.
Or they'll call it full flavor or smooth or extra smooth or some such.
I don't pay much attention to the terminology.

Oh yeah, tubes are marketed similarly.
I get the lightest tobacco I can find and get the tubes with the micro perforations in the filters to cut the harshness even more.
Hot Rod tubes in the light blue box of 200.

[EDIT] You can still buy loose tobacco in a bag marked as cigarette tobacco.
Slightly finer cut than the stuff marked as pipe tobacco.
Hardly anybody buys it, cuz it's a least twice the price, due to the Federal tax.
Any tobacco shop like Smokin' Joe's or Puff 'n' Snuff will stock a few bags for appearance sake.

Luckily you can identify the idiots right off the bat Mark. I don't waste my breath on their posts. Hell, if someone says something negative in any thread I ignore it. Not worth my time to be honest.
