N2 Designs 2016-2022 Tacoma 3x OEM FOB Plug n Play Remote Starter Kit (AT & MT) + Smart Module

Hey guys I have a problem with the kit.
*little info, 2020 Manual Transmission, H-Key

After following the instruction and programming exactly like how Jimmy did in the video is there another step I am suppose to do?

I havent put things away, already re-installed 3 times. Same thing.

press the lock button 3 times, head lights do come on and gauge cluster but thats it.

Testing it today...and proactively prepping the extra harnesses...

 

Make sure your clutch cancel tap is in well and biting, and make sure the green fuse that plugs into the relay (small black cube attached to your harness hasn’t fallen out, if the blade fuse fell out, there is an extra one included in the red baggy. If you’ve checked all those and still does not work, we may need to reset the module and reprogram. I’ve PMed you my cell, feel free to text me.

Is this the correct light I am supposed to get after installation?

And yes I doubled check the clutch cancel and green fuse. Everything is plugged and tapped in well

Responded. You can't move on to cell portion until fob portion works. The yellow light is normal when ignition is ON. Are you putting the vehicle in ready mode properly and TPMS snipped and interfaced to our connectors?

 

Got my remote starter installed today by N2 designs works great. I think I got button happy installing it but Jimmy helped me get it straightened out with a reset. Great company, 10/10 would buy again.

Id like to add the smart phone module but Im a little confused on what model starter I have. My invoice from you says I have the N2-EA-TOY6K but the module itself says its a Fortin

EVO-ALL. Not sure which one to select when buying the addon.

 

Option #1: I already have a remote starter
Option #2: N2-EA-XXX...

@n2designsinc Hey there! So I installed the remote start and it was super easy! Totally recommend!

however I did add the smartphone module and am needing some support. I’ve restarted the device with no luck.

I see my truck on the app, however it does not send commands to the truck. It does however read if I lock and unlock my doors with my keyfob. And the remote start works with keyfob. Just can’t from the app. Ideas?

Question: does the remote start have to be reprogrammed in the case of a battery change on the truck? Thanks

 

Anyone have a programming button I can borrow? I forgot what it did and tossed it a while ago, now need it to program the wireless add-on Santa brought me.
