Not sure where to post his at, but figured this would be a great place.

As some of you know, I rolled my 2nd gen this past weekend at Stony Lonesome. Trying to remove my door and front quarter panel so I can replace it with some junkyard parts. I have all the quarter panel bolts removed, except for the one where you have to have the door open, to access. Problem is, my door only opens just enough for me to squeeze into the driver's seat. I can't access the last quarter panel bolt because my door doesn't open far enough. I'm in a pickle here and would appreciate some help and ideas on this!

This is as far as my door opens

Because of this, between the front of the door should be opening behind the quarter panel. My door is dented in the middle, which cause the front of the door to flare out and sit in front of the quarter panel.

If you're going to scrap the door and the quarter panel, dont be afraid to beat them into functional shape. Or if you can't do that, maybe cut off or bend part of the fender where it contacts :notsure:

    A thing or two...
As the other guys said just beat it strategically into submission, so you can open the door. The tabs holding the fender aren't that substantial, so I'd focus on the edge of the door.
