I think the idea is cool, I wish they were the same color as the paint, or grey. The white is very stark. Still cool though.

First time doing vinyl wrap. My son helped...needed the extra hands. Pretty happy how it came out.

I used Vivid matte black vinyl from Amazon (6X5 sheet IIRC). I used 3M knifeless tape to match the hood lines to make a perfect cut. CKWraps on YouTube has great videos on his processes.

Overall, very pleased about the outcome...thinking I might do something like this for my next vinyl project (credit to Victory 4X4, no relation whatsoever):

    Thanks for the comments.

Would love to find vinyl that matches 8W2. I have some on order and if it’s close, I’ll see if my friend can use her Cricket to cut some decals. We’ll see how these hold up in the meantime.

Got a Hondo Garage phone mount, love this thing and the price tag makes sense now compared to the cheap stuff out there.

Finally put the new Engel fridge in the back...................had to use a board under the fridge due to having the jumbo slide, I love it! However, it will be a little while to have it running since I have plans to redo all the wiring and dual battery stuff.

According to the tow driver, I probably ran over a nail that passed right through the tire. Pair that with going at highway speeds gave me a quick flat and a shredded tire.

Someone posted a few months back about the process of trying to weather proof his bed in preparation for putting a cap on. I never saw what the results were, or if he ever posted his experience after the cap was installed. Does anyone remember who this was, and the result?

Thanks man! Yea it took maybe 30 mins start to finish. Not quite as quick and easy as the install video showed but it wasn't bad. The start button had 2 tabs that were a bit difficult but the deed is done.

Now I'm waiting for Meso to come out with the AC knobs, and the upper vent rings. If I get impatient enough I might just go with AJT as those look great too.

Best of luck with your install and post some pics!
