After realizing I'd only seen two in-action pics of the new LED headlights and thinking y'all might want to see a few more pics plus responding to a couple of requests, I stepped outside with a fresh beer and the baby monitor and tried to grab a couple flattering but fair pics. I'm by no means a photographer and I snapped all of these with my Galaxy S10 in auto mode for forward shots, pro mode to change the ISO so it'd look right then half-ass cropped and uploaded. I hope someone will find use or amusement in them. For reference, the trees are approx 300ft away/100m.

Parking lights with fogs (yes it'll do that stock.)

    Fog lights and low beams

    High beams

    Note, with the headlight switch:
•Off: the DRL C-lights are off when driving.
•Auto: DRLs are on and bright without the cornering light during the day, dimmed with corner light and low beam at night.
•Parking: DRLs are bright, cornering light on day or night. With parking lights on, turning the fog lights on dims the DRLs.
•On: well, that's low beam on command, so dimmed DRLs, cornering light, low beam, optional fogs.
••High beam makes the fog lights turn off, its intentional and a law in many states. Lows stay on with highs.
*The turn signal IS sequential like the Pro's, the only difference is the lack of letters in the lights.

Mini-rant: The premise is that your down range vision is better with less light right in front of you. Don't believe that? Turn all the cab lights on and shine your phones flashlight looking up at you while sitting in the truck on a dark road. Plus, why would you need fogs and high beams at the same time? They are for opposite purposes.

Clean looking pictures! Did you happen to get the blinker or hazards in action?

Nope, but I think my phone's camera software will do GIFs, let's go play with that. Brb.

Edit: Wow, that was trash at night without being able to change the ISO. That would have been sexy. Ah well, I'll take a look at it and maybe put it on youtube in a few. If you don't see it posted in like 20 minutes, it was crap and I'll do something tomorrow. Or maybe learn my phone's camera settings. We'll see.

Those are better than I expected, wonder how they compare to a projector retrofit?

Having done several retrofits and having long-term (over 250,000mi) driven 16 vehicles with xenon and LEDs, I happily say that I lust for nothing. Don't really have an interest in playing with it. Its more than i'd hoped for, worth every freakin penny of the +/-$445 it cost to add plus the time delay. A real-deal, quality retro is damn near what i paid to have it OEM.

I will say that I prefer the broader-spectrum output of xenon for rain, for the record. But i'm still 100% happy compared to the halogen candles and I'm tired of modding my daily.

Parking lights with fogs, fog and low, high beams (no fogs.)

It's not so easy to tell on a computer or god forbid, a phone, but in person it's a very noticeable difference. The cutoff on the fog and low is nice and sharp.

Impresssive! I wonder how these compare to the RX350 retrofits?

The color will be different from any non-LED retrofit and remember these are reflector, not projector, based. To me, that makes the cutoff definition that much more impressive.

All lighting are led, wheels, tires, 5100 lift, pro grill, bed light, seat covers, door sill protectors.

Possibly you can throw pics of the beam pattern and cut off line on the wall?

I wish toyota would make those standard option for all the trucks . We pay so much for these trucks to get technology from the 90’s ...

I agree 100% to add to that, I wish they would finally make full LED tail lights to match headlights! I paid extra for tech package and was pist to find out taillights still halogen! Oh well- we can all wish.

Take a look at the low beam pic, that's the money one. It shows the cutoff at 150 feet or so which is way more indicative of what they're like on the road compared to a wall at 15 feet. Remember, the optics are reflector not projector, they'll only get so sharp. I think these are phenomenal given that they're reflector. If your user pic is accurate and you have the standard halogen projectors, consider (doing as much research as possible) putting high quality LEDs in them before spending the time and money on the factory LED headlights. Unless you're after the look as well then do it! I love them and lust for nothing. That's highly unusual for me.

I'll be able to take a pic tomorrow and maybe I can try out the .gif mode and catch the directionals too.

I agree 100%. I did the @MESO stage one tails and they are absolutely amazing. People actually see my directional now and the reverse light was much more of an improvement then I expected. Now I need LED license plate lights to complete the update.

I’m on the fence about swapping out fogs to amber LED’s . It’s hard to justify 350-400 bucks for new LED fogs when we already have them. I really like stock LED fog lights but I’m sure amber fogs will make a difference.

People ask for wall shots because THAT is most indicative of what on coming drivers will see...ie if the light is scattered and annoying/blinding to other people on the road.

The little bit of light that is above the cutoff in my pics above is the exact reason why I’m occasionally flashed by oncoming traffic (even though I’ve already adjusted my headlight aim lower than factory). You will never be able to notice that little bit of light “bleed” if you don’t look at wall shots.

These are the oem led headlights correct?

Nice cut off for reflectors, but doesnt seem as wide as the halogen projectors, and what i like, helps me see up ahead and further on the side, especially on dark night when people might just he crossing.
