I feel like the settings for my intermittent wiper adjustment knob are backwards. Can anyone confirm? When I turn the knob toward the larger bars on the stalk, the wiper interval gets shorter, faster. All my other Toyotas, it gets slower when you turn to the larger bars.
It keeps throwing me every time I drive a different car.

Threw me off as well and I owned multiple Toyotas. Looks like the truck engineers think differently than the car engineers. Maybe when you get in the truck from the car, instead of thinking more time think more asswipes. Being that the truck is dirty and all... for dirty people like us.

This is the second post about this recently I believe. Nothing wrong with that I just noticed from reading. However I’ve never looked at a windshield wiper knob and paid any attention to it until the last two days and I’m 39 years old :). I just get in the truck and turn the wipers on if it’s raining. If I turn the knob one way and they’re slower than I need, turn the knob the other way to speed them up.

Anyway they seem normal to me. My 2015 was same and so is my 2015 altima. Pretty sure my wife’s 2017 terrain is the same but the on and off directions are opposite yet the dial to speed them up turns the same direction.

Normal. The bigger the "line"....the more rain it represents. The more narrow the line, the less rain.

And you're right. They did make a change at some point...maybe the mid 90s?

This still messes me up, my Toyotas are opposite every other vehicle I have owned

Same here. After getting an SR without intermittent wipers and then replacing the stalk with an Intermittent wiper, I have absolutely no complaints lol.
