I got a lifetime one through Firestone a few years ago with my suspension modified no problem.

I never use it anymore though because Firestone sucks at aligning vehicles with aftermarket setups. They just want to plug in the stock numbers and send you on your way.

I haven't used the lifetime package in over a year, instead I go to a local 4x4 shop that does them and pay $125 each time. Firestone has never done a good job with my truck

Yeah a few members have had their lifetime alignments refunded because of mods. It appears recent that they started cracking down on that. My location said they'd still honor mine because I bought it there but said they can't guarantee another location will also honor it

Dam too bad. I just called 3 different locations and they all said the same. Lifetime alignment for $120 is just a great deal!

Can still get it for the daily if you have one in the family though. I take the wife's Prius there whenever I do some work on it or just once a year to make sure everything is in spec from all the potholes in California

Try NTB. They worked with my modified truck.

Our Firestone’s in St Louis are picky per location.

Are you having it aligned to factory specs, or "lifted" specs most people on here recommend?
I bought a "lifetime" alignment from Firestone a couple of years ago before I "lifted" my truck (1.5"). I went in a few weeks ago to get an alignment and had to argue with them about aligning to the specs I wanted. They didn't want to do it at all. They will only do it to "factory specs".
Make sure you check that the store will align your truck the way you want before you buy the lifetime alignment.

    Cheers

Ok. I guess I don’t know any better. Can you post the lifted specs? Did they give you a refund if they didnt want to do an alignment the way you want it?

What I've read on here, and what my installer reiterated as well:

Toe: as close to 0° as possible
Camber: as close to 0° as possible
    Caster: as close to 3.5° +/-. 5°
Note: you will need aftermarket UCA's to get caster as high as listed above.

No refund. I'll see if I can transfer the "lifetime alignment" to my wife's car. If not, it's a $150 lesson learned... I guess.

    Cheers

Firestone techs are trash. I had my lifetime alignment refunded. They basically do a "toe and go" adjustment on all vehicles for a quick turn. Not recommended unless you're stock for life.

I figured I'd keep mine just in case I wanted or needed a quick toe and go...like recently after I replaced my tie rods. Figure I just needed a toe and go alignment, not a full $125 one from the good place I go to.

Firestone even managed to screw up the toe 'n go ...gave my truck back with the steering wheel more crooked than it was after I replaced my own tie rods.

I was told keep it less than 1 per 6 months and they don't care.

I have Pro suspension on my Sport. I have the Firestone life time alignment. What they told me is they “can only do what is in the computer.” So I tell them to do a Pro alignment.

That's a great deal. Or was a great deal.

I've been in with two trucks probably 10 times now and have only been satisfied 2 or 3 times. Toe is always set off center so she pulls. I now go in only for the caster and camber printout, then readjust toe myself. I can usually get it straight in 3 tries.

Depends on the store. My local one is awesome. I always ask to talk to the techs when I ask for custom settings. They always do exactly what I want, even to the point of me hanging out in the shop with them while they dial it in. I've got SPC's and ADS coilovers and have never had any grief from them. Hopefully they don't get new techs any time soon because the ones they have now are excellent.

The only issue I've had with Firestone is that they apparently have a policy that they can't put used tires on. I was swapping my tires from my old wheels to new ones and they said they couldn't do it. It makes no sense to me, especially since this is their policy even in places where people often have winter and summer tires.
