I blew a fuse on the plug in outlet in the center console and tried to replace it. Found the correct fuse in the box under the hood. It is a 20 amp and since I did not have any 20's I tried to place a 15 amp in there until I could get the proper one. Because of the shape of the fuse it would not fit. Are these TOYOTA only fuses or are they readily available at the parts store?

Here are the different types of fuses, amperage is the other factor for fuses of curse.

what fuse are you trying to replace under the hood?
Both cig lighter sockets (in the center console and below the AC controls) are in the fuse panel below the steering wheel

also, they are standard fuses you can get at any auto part store

The one that blew is in the fuse box under the hood and is the 2nd 20 amp from the bottom in the middle row. According to the 1st response it is a low profile fuse.

2nd 20A from the bottom middle column is Radio No.2, which is for the JBL amp 0AB2786C-72F3-41E2-BA48-92301A33F4CB.jpg

What is the fuse above that the says IG2-Main. That is the one that is blown or maybe it is supposed to be blown as there is no markings like the others that are stamped 20A. I did also locate the fuse box under the dash and found a 15A fuse blown and replaced and the receptacle now works. Did not know there was another box under the dash. Thanks for the help.
