Neither of these are an option unfortunately. This is in my finished basement and I don’t want to pull all the drywall down.

Find out which way the ceiling joists run that will allow you to get to the walls, then hide it behind crown over to a door, then pull the casing and run it in the shim space down to the baseboard and along the wall to your stereo. You'll only need to patch drywall between the crown and the door casing.

I do stain grade finish work. I don't use caulk or paint. lol

 

I went on online and started reading articles on encapsulated crawlspaces as well as any YT channels I could find. I went above and beyond, spared no expense and it cost me about $5K.( To hire proffesionals, it cost around $10k depending on the size of your cralspace) I have a huge crawlspace with a 13 ft backwall. My house is on a hill. I could of cut cost in a few areas here and there but it was a learning experience. I ended up buying the Aprilaire 1830 dehumidifier. ( About $1000) It can remove up to 9 gallons a day. you can just keep it working in your crawlspace or use it to dehumidify both your crawlspace and your home. You can hook it up to their thermostat and read your Relative humidity from an app on your phone. Start watching the"Crawlspace Ninja" on Youtube and watch a couple of how to's. "Crawlspacerepair" is also a great place for supplies. Again, I went all out. You could probably walk away for around $3500 depending on the size of your crawlspace. The battery was still good on my 5YO 4Runner so I put a new platinum 24F in it and used the old one for the shed.



500 Lumen LED strips x4 really light it up.

Bose is good, a lot of systems these days use technology to simulate surround sound. From a humans ability to hear standpoint, no difference. It’s harder to overcome problems you create for yourself.

 

The subwoofer for the Samsung soundbar that I bought on Black Friday is wireless. There are wireless add-on rear speakers for it as well, which I didn't spring for.

 

Got the attic staircase installed to the loft. Hopefully finish the under-loft lighting tomorrow.

Got a new smoker going today. Burnt it in last night. 20lbs of Hickory smoked turkey chilling for 3 hours so far. Temp running 230-250. Not bad fluctuations for it spitting snow outside and windy af today.

 

My favorite part of smoking a Turkey is the smokey gravy you get from the drippings. Looking good!
