What are good brands/types for putting in extended brake lines people are using? Stainless braided the best? Trail gear, Crown, All Pro?

Thinking I may just do the front while I'm at it because some come in a kit, and will have to change/bleed the brakes if doing the rear anyway. Do you get better brake feel with the new lines?

Going to get the Deaver J59 springs and don't want to gamble on breaking a line if at full droop (probably should have already put some new brake lines in with the current ARB springs).

I'm running steel brake lines from wheelers front and rear, I highly recommend them

There seem to be some pretty expensive SS brake line kits out there. However, the added cost doesn't translate to added performance.

Wheeler's Off road has a kit, Marlin Crawler is a company that knows their shit, too. Just don't pay more than $100 for the set.

So you don't get any added performance, i.e. brake feel or braking power, from putting the lines in. Just for bling?

Extended length lines and yes there is a performance benefit, steel lines won't "bulge like rubber lines will under heavy pressure so more brake force will go to the calipers.

Ok, I was just curious if you do actually notice more braking power. Think I'll get the crowns from marlin then

Sorry, I meant that there doesn't seem to be an added benefit over other SS braided lines.

There's definitely a performance advantage over the stock rubber lines. There is definitely an improvement, but sometimes it's subtle and you may not notice an earth shattering improvement.

I got Stoptech stainless steel lines for the front (stock length)...for the rear I got the extended SS lines that Headstrong sells. Not sure what brand they are
