Have you ever put together a model kit? It costs $20 and you pull the parts off the mold yourself and unless you remove the burs yourself, are you going to complain that the kit isn't as you expected for $20?

seal up the lenses before you get water in them, then you will have something to complain about.

The return policy is pretty easy to find on their website and is written in plain english if you don’t like the terms then don’t buy...he had the option to return for any reason but chose to threaten and call them out in public forum so your gonna get comments for and against but in the end the buyer didn’t do his due diligence while I can sympathize he got some shitty tail lights it’s really nobody’s fault but his own.

Yep. Setting the bar high on day 2. I'll have to up my beer count to keep up with this.
Now, on a relevant note: i understand the concern, but for that price, it's not bad. I would normally use a metaphor to illustrate my point, but....no. happy new year folks:drunk:

That is all I am saying a small VOCAL majority on here act like vendors should not be able to be held accountable like a normal business like they are their boys. Are they inviting you guys out for beers or something? I really don't care either way. What he received does not look like the pictures online, he should not of installed them I agree. I feel like its appropriate what he posted, quit acting like a bunch of snowflakes

    :annoyed:

You guys obviously make way more money than me because nothing on Cali LED is low cost.

I'm not a huge money maker. $60 on parts would be alot for me right now. But I'm trying to educate you in a sense of a vendors point of view. A tail light needs R&D and that by itself about 85% of the cost. Then you have to source the lights, the wires and the plastic. Then you have to own the injection molder plus the operating costs of thermal and coolant all running at the same time. Plus the cost of maintaining those machines. Plus the costs of plastics and ultimately the mold itself. You will also need a QC person which is not a cheap position to hire for. You will then need a cheap assembly team. Then a design team for marketing/packaging/web design. Then you have shipping costs and taxes as well as the cost for the building they were manufactured as well as ISO and other licenses if applicable. $240 before taxes is MINIMAL as a consumer however it may have cost them $60 to mold and assemble, they need to upcharge for all additional costs. The costs for someone to debur and polish will also add to the expense for time and insurance. This is just to give you an idea of how production works.

239 for tail lights is fairly cheap as far as tail lights go. You get what you pay for.

I thought you worked for some fancy schmacy company where you had to know the difference between former and latter. In your statement, katskins is the former. Clazzios are the latter.:luvya:
