Hey guys, found some brand new coilovers semi local to me for a pretty smoking deal. I'm trying to figure out if they are extended travel or not. He's sending me measurements in the morning. Is there any other way to tell other than the overall length? And if they are the non extended travel model, the only difference is an internal spacer that can be removed when opened up right? These are currently the pictures I have.

OAL would be the best bet. Does the seller have something against removing products from the floor of his vehicle to photograph? Those don't look like they've ever been mounted, and he doesn't have the retail box, so did they fall off an assembly line someplace?? Don't answer that. I need plausible deniability.

What exactly at those measurements? With around 22" in total length, and 4.5" of shaft showing, thats probably NOT an extended length coilover.

There should be a part number stamped into the bottom side of the shock body, just where the piston rod goes into the shock body. Have him tell you what part number it is. FOX-880-02-418 is an extended length coilover.

There isn't any difference in the coilover itself other than in internal spacer that can be removed though correct?

Thats correct. We know someone who could remove that spacer, and tune it for you at the same time :)
