What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I have just been in the right place at the right time. I have considered selling all six of my F5's and going with stock rims and 255/85R16's instead.

 

You won't have a problem finding a buyer at all for those F5s my man

Three coats of primer, three coats of base and 5 coats of clear. Being that it’s going to rain all day tomorrow I’ll just let it dry and put it on over the weekend.

Only had 1 day off this week, and I spent it with the significant other since she had just got back from Mexico; she was gone a week, we had to play catch up

I feel even worse that @Wulf attempted to surprise me without knowing that USPS delivers to an office vs my house. And unless I know to check with the office, a package can sit there indefinitely.

That office opens at 830 or so (1hr after I've left for work) and closes at 430 (3 1/2hrs before I get out of work). I sometimes have to wait a week until a day off to pick up packages.

 

Finished product. I figured I would save some money and just bought the grill piece off of @HomerTaco like two years ago, I’m glad I did it for the experience but if I had to do it all over again I would of paid him to do it.

 

Valve shim adjustment, valve cover gasket, PCV valve, VSV swap from junkyard, knock sensor wiring, plugged a tire. Nothing sweet and fancy, just maintenance.

 

I am in San Jose and am willing to pick up the bumper and bring it down to you today or tomorrow

 

Installed a Volant intake tube on my 3RZ. My original plan was to just bolt it in, but I realized that the Volant airbox is not exactly in the same place as the stock box. I used a heat gun to warp the tube into position. Then installed it and heated it some more to get it to settle where it needed to be.

I just did this to clean up the clutter in the engine bay. The mounts for the large metal chamber on the stock intake had broken off.

 

What's with that metal box like thing sitting above your exhaust? a DIY support for the box that hangs off the factory intake tubing?

 

How did you attach the Toyota on there? I’ve had that same emblem sitting on the shelf while trying to figure the best way to do it.
