2017 Tonneau Cover fit 2020?

I just moved from a 2017 Tacoma OR DC SB to a 2020 OR DC SB. My 2017 had the factory trifold tonneau cover and I would like to use it on my 2020. Anyone know if they are the same size and if this will work/is possible? Thanks...

 

I installed a 2016 dcsb factory tonneau cover on my 2020 last week and the fit is perfect

 

As long as you have the factory tonneau cover rails that go with the cover yes. Tacomas without the cover do not have those rails pre installed so you will need those for the cover to fit on the new vehicle.

You can also cut the non-tonneau bed rail caps yourself to accommodate the hardware. I did this (couldn’t find pre-cut bed rail caps and didn’t want to pay full price for the new ones) and it’s easy to get clean cuts using a dremel, a file or two and some sand paper.

The bed caps have outlines for the cuts on the underside already, but I chose to make slightly smaller slots for the hardware than the oem tonneau bed caps and I think it looks just a little bit cleaner
