    Hello Everyone,

Just picked up my Tacoma last Friday, kind of an impulse buy as I wasn’t planning on buying a truck for about a year. But I saw it pop up (basically been looking at Tacoma’s daily for the last 6 months lol) and was the exact color and specs that I wanted for a great price. So after some intense negotiation with my wife, she let me buy it.

Here it is the morning after I got it.

So a little background, I’ve strictly had lowered Honda’s since I started driving 14 years ago. I love working on cars and have been mostly into I port cars for a long time.

Here is my last car that I traded for the Tacoma. 2013 Accord V6 on Volk Ce28s.

2 years ago my wife bought a 4Runner before our daughter was born and I’ve been obsessed with it since we got it. And for the last 6 months I knew I wanted a Tacoma but after test driving a 17 Silver Sky Off Road and really thinking about the numbers it didn’t make sense as I only had my Accord for about 2 years at the time and worked fine for what I needed. Plus I didn’t want to settle for any color besides quicksand as I knew I would regret it, I’m fine with the lower mode SR5 because I’ll replace everything on it eventually anyway, but I couldn’t get away from the color.

So I do have a lot of long term plans as far as things I want to add/upgrade but so far I took off the sr5 and v6 badges, and plasti dipped the chrome grille (think I’m switching to the pro grille) and door Tacoma emblems.

I ordered steps already because my wife is 5ft tall, and this month I’m ordering wheels and tires because the only think I dislike about the truck are these horrible wheels and little tires. I’m still narrowing down what wheels I want. Well, I know Im getting Te37x’s but can’t swing that price right now so I’m probably getting some methods or even the OEM off road wheels.

Anyway, I rambled a lot in this, I’ve been looking at the forum for months and it seems like a good community compared to the Honda forums (most have died out due to social media).

    Thanks for reading!
