Blackvue GoPro Mount for DR900S 900X Dashcam - Gen3 2016/2017/2018

Glad it worked. Yes, the fit is snug but it doesn’t move. I made the fit to where Off-roading, bumps, and normal daily driving would not allow for the camera to rotate. The hardest part was finding ShapeWays and a 3D print shop that had tight specifications. Show us the finished product once you get it mounted.

 

Hope you didn't think that I was, in any way, criticizing your design. I was just letting anyone else who orders this part through Shapeways know what to expect. I'm quite happy.

Both mounts offered on Shapeways say Versatile Plastic in the dropdown. One is $18 (Black Natural) and the other is $33 (Black Premium). I saw no option to pick a color even after adding to cart and proceding to checkout. I'd prefer to have a perfect color match. I'm just not crazy about having a nice shiny dashcam inside of a dull mount. It's a great design and I appreciate your efforts. Maybe I'm being too picky.

 

I think I got one of those from you. Thanks. I ended up with a few of them (for other proijects.) Anyway, have you had any of the squeezable arms break on yours? It seems, everytime I install or remove one from the mount, an arm breaks off. I live in Florida. I don't think it's weather related.
