So I've had my eyes on a set of wheels, and I've been thinking about pulling the trigger and buying them, however, here in WV, you aren't supposed to have tires sticking out passed your fenders. Now, I doubt that police are really strict about that, unless it's something crazy, but these wheels have a -12mm offset and a 4.53in backspacing. I'm okay with them sticking out passed the fenders a little, but is that too much?

    Thanks for your advice!

    Are your OE wheels (+25) - ?

If so, the new wheels will stick out ~ 1.5" further. So depending on what new tires you go with? May stick out a little further. Here is a good website for side-by-side comparison.

    I'm probably going with 285/70r17

Here is 8.5 -10 w/285/70/17 so they’ll stick out about 3/8” more, maybe a little bit more gives you and idea. EE4AE649-3321-4E8D-A195-436130F4F39A.jpg

So they don’t stick out too far. 2mm isn’t gonna make a noteworthy difference. That picture eases my mind, thanks for sharing!

    Correct the 2mm + a 1/4” since they’re a 17x9

That's awesome, my future wheels almost have the same spec. 17x9 -12 offset and 4.75 backspace. Also thinking of going 285/70/17. Post pictures once you get yours, thanks.
