Anybody have their 3rd gen frame treatment from the recall?

I took my truck in today for service and was told there was a recall on the frame. They did a inspection and was told I would be contacted next week to Schedule the frame coating. Has anyone had this done?

 

Toyota still has not learned there lesson with using junk frames huh....my 2nd gen was cleaned up (by me) and then went In for the coating and has been holding up good for years now. Not a spec of rust was under it when it went on and still nothing on the outside where it is wearing down

 

What type of coating did they use?

 

It's a clean, and dry treatment for inside the frame, where the problems start. It takes 1-2 days.

 

They did tell me that they would have my truck for 1-2 days...

 

The 2017 Tacoma I owned for 2.5 years was showing rust on the frame in less than a year. This is not surprising at all.
