Got a 95.5 w/3rz with a blown motor ( hole in block) does anyone know what I would need to swap a 2 or 4 coil 3rz? I know they will bolt up but what about wiring? I have a 2 coil from a 98 taco laying around but I’m wondering if there is an easy way to convert it from a distributor.

That’s what I was afraid of. I have a doner truck that the engine came out of but it’s auto. Would I be able to use that? I swapped my 02 auto prerunner 3.4 to manual 4x4 w/ manual hubs and it ran with the prerunner ecm just had a cel.

No emissions here thankfully, I wonder what else changed in harness and plugs between those years? They are both base model 4x4 excab, no tach, manual hubs, locks & windows
