If anyone is interested the tidewater Toyota’s group is doing a Christmas tree drop off run to help with erosion on the beaches. Kind of our chance to give back for having the beaches to wheel on near by. If you’re interested just let me know so we can get a rough head count. We’ll be going as a group to meet at the hickory location on Sunday. If we have enough people we’ll organize another ride during next week.

@saundern is looking at these. Does anyone know the seller or can you help a homie out and give them a check-up before he buys them?

Can someone please help and guide me to the right direction? I bought my new 2020 Tacoma in Richmond (I live in VA beach) and when I got home, I noticed my last name on my registration was incorrect. I notified the dealer and they said when they entered my social, that typo was already entered. Funny thing is I have never dealt with Virginia DMV to even have my name with them. This is my first purchase in the VA. My other car is registerred in California with every information correct. So, to sum it up... How do I get my correct last name on my registration? I feel like the dealership is giving me BS or does not know what to do. I am currently on hold with the DMV for a few minutes now to see what they say.

Just head into the DMV. That'd be the easiest way to get it sorted out. I bought a car from the dealer and had it registered there, but then took paperwork into the DMV to title and register my truck. I guess there was two separate profiles for me and they had to get it merged. `

Does anyone have any recommendations for ceramic coating in the VA beach/Chesapeake area along with price range?

    Help need fellow taco driver’s!!
I’m getting a thumping noise when I shift from reverse to drive. I started greasing the driveshaft and the noise will go away for a few hundred miles then, come right back. Right now I’m greasing the damn driveshaft every week!!!
I have a V6 Auto 4x4 2011. I know there is probably a thread somewhere on here but, can’t find it. Or any opinions on what else I can do or is the driveshaft screwed??

I dont know if they do ceramic or not, but check with Vanwin Coatings in Chesapeake. I had them do my sliders about 6 years ago. Still in great shape. They were very reasonable as well. For your sake I hope they do ceramic.

I bought it in 2017. Seems to have plenty of torque but, still tranny hasn’t been serviced since 2017. You thinking it’s the tranny or the driveshaft?
