Tacoma World - Here is my 2019 Super White TRD Pro!

I've been scouring the forums ever since I got the truck. It's addicting and I mean that word in it's literal sense. It's worse than Instagram of endless scrolling and browsing.

Less than 24 hours of having it I had to dip the shoes in some dirt!

    I'm coming from a 2004 Tundra V6 4x2 Access Cab, 2001 S2000 and 2013 Ninja 300 Cafe/Scrambler.

Giving the Tundra back to my pops and sold/selling the rest! This truck ticks all the boxes that the Tundra was missing. Four wheel drive as well as four doors! I hated the access cab on the Tundra - it was so frustrating getting stuck between the doors when parked next to a wall or another car - those of you with an access cab I feel your pain deeply. I couldn't really take it on many far adventures since it was a 4x2 - You can imagine it being one wheel drive since it didn't have an LSD or lockers.

I also got rid of my S2000 recently to fuel more outdoor passions rather than the adrenaline filled motor sport world. It was a dream car of mine and I began modding it a bit too much. Bumpers, wide body, hardtop, wing, suspension, seats, forged wheels, etc. Slowly but surely it was getting more troublesome to drive, as well a car that was getting me into trouble - financially and legally. When it was stock I loved it and wanted to drive it every chance I got - zip around with the top down and rev it's heart out. In it's modded form, although it looked great and performed great on track, I had no interest to take it out anymore. Thinking back, I traded metal fenders for fiberglass, plastic bumpers for fiberglass, leather adjustable seats for cloth buckets, decent MPG for wide wheels and a wing.

I don't plan on modding this truck much which is why I opted for the TRD Pro. I want to keep it easy to get in and go - rather than worrying about other things that take away from the driving experience. With the Toyota promos and 'older' 2019 model year, the Pro was only $3k more than a 2020 Offroad DCSB I was originally in the market for.

I couldn't be happier so far! Truck is great although the transmission is a bit goofy. Also goofy is the steering wheel volume control being left and right rather than up and down.

Hopefully she stays stock for awhile.

    Nice truck dude!

Yeah, the volume thing drives me bonkers. On the land cruiser it’s the proper way too. Let that sink in.
