I'm coming back to this page to Mabye get some info. I bought a 2014 supercharged and fully built. Had a week and it dropped a piston. Dealer is taking car of it and putting a low mile engine in it out there pocket. It has a BD tuner. Was curious if that may have caused the issue. Truck only has 107k miles. Just seeing if any one else has had similar issue. I can have it retuned by toyota just didn't know if it was just a fluke deal or not. The A/F on the bd was running 8. Had no idea that was bad until it dropped a piston. Might have been lower because the bd will only read to 8. Also it's a 2014 4.0

8 afr is super rich. Which is better than being lean, but still not ideal. There are many different tuning options if you go to the other thread people are extremely helpful there.
