So it is finally time for me to replace my valve cover gaskets. Does anyone have input on what kits to get and any pointers on how to tackle replacing the valve cover gaskets? Suggestions on parts/kits. ie: OEM or after market? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    OME and worth every penny.
Most will say OEM or nothing. A few will say Fel-Pro is fine.

There's a great sticky above once you decide which brand to buy.

Changing the sealant on the moons is just as important or you will be doing it again.

I ordered new gaskets, spark plug tube seals, half moons, and some fipg sealer from @gunny1005. Pretty straight forward job, clean everything good and watch where everything goes. Take pics if you need to in case you forget where lines go etc. It’s not a hard job but you will need to remove the upper intake to change them.
