My 2017 squeaks terribly. I set up an appointment for this Saturday to get this addressed.

I had the TSB done on my 2017. Squeak is back after a rain. Seems gone again this morning. Might have to go back for a third time.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Have had my 2016 TRD Off Road Access cab just over 2 years now. About 10,000 off road miles on it now.

When the leaf springs are dirty, they squeak like a son of a bitch on mine. How bad? Just climbing in and out of the drivers seat and they squeak like mad, and VERY loud. Can hear them from a block away on normal city driving.

I now powerwash them clean every time I come back from an offroad trip, which for me is once or twice every week. Then I just spray some WD-40 around the upright brackets that wrap around sides of leaf springs. No spray in between leaf springs. However, I don't have to use the WD-40 each time.

100% dead silent every time. I can hand rock the truck like a demon, not a sound and only a 5 minute fix. This not only lasts for in city driving, but I can do one hundred off road miles per trip, and 3 of those trips before is starts to squeak again. Powerwash leaf springs (have to do my whole undercarriage each time anyway, lots of mud) and then a few minutes with the WD-40, and good again for another few trips before having to repeat.

I would rather do a 5 minute fix than take it to the dealer, again and again...

In my experience, it was pretty frustrating to visit the dealer three times for this issue. Finally they did the TSB on both sides and I haven't had any noise in ~8,000 miles and plenty of off-road miles.

I had the squeaks HARD at about 20k miles after doing some semi deep water off-roading. First dealership (local) basically told me to kick rocks because it was dirty. I powerwashed the sh!t out of the leaf springs and overall detailed the truck. Took it back and showed them it's not because "it's dirty" and showed them the TSB on it and they were weird about it, very lazy like. I took it to a dealership about 30 minutes away from me, told them about the bad dealer experience, showed them the TSB, and they fixed the truck in two days no questions asked, no charge, and of course a complimentary wash. I never went back to the first dealership, but I did tell them why they're not getting my business when they called me.

    TL;DR
Toyota fixed my leaf springs under the TSB no questions asked, just had to find the right dealership. It has now been a year and a half and I have had zero squeaks since. Fingers crossed though.
